I’m not the only one who has complaints regarding this grave mistake as one can see by reading other reviews. It also looks NatGeo carried this over to all their other calendars in all of there other 2022 lineup. ( Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2021 )
- 2.0 out of 5 stars from Olivia K. -- Changed format from previous years : I’ve been buying Nat Geo calendars every year for as long as I can remember. The 2022 version SUCKS. As others have noted, the grid size is much smaller, it is non functional and the moon phases are not shown. It does list the FULL MOON but prefer the previous version where you can actually see each moon phase; as an astrology and star nerd, it was a nice feature. Past years there would be a little blip or sentence about the location; this version has the location and photographer in tiny font in the lower corner. I’m ok with change if it improves, but this looks so cheap and non functional. This may be my last Nat Geo calendar purchase unfortunately. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2022 )
- 2.0 out of 5 stars from JoeV -- Quality has fallen considerably : We have been getting multiple National Geographic wall calendars for years. The printing quality took a big step down this year. Additionally, the calendar is less functional. There is more useless white space at the top and bottom of the page and the boxes are smaller leaving less space to write in. Even the font choices seem odd. I’ve included a photo of 2021 (left) vs 2022 (right). ( Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2021 )
- 1.0 out of 5 stars from Edward -- Garbage. : Have been buying these calendars for years. It looks like a calendar my parents would have received from their bank 50 years ago. Smoggy, 1960's looking photos, tiny date squares, not enjoyable to look at, and no information about the photograph beyond a "this is the thing and the country it's in." Quite junky, actually. - 1.0 out of 5 stars from VW -- Serious decline in quality : This calendar is such a disappointment. When I opened it, I immediately noticed it was smaller, less glossy, and the boxes are also small. Mine also has stains across the top and bottom of the pages on the first half of the year, like the cardboard placed inside it for packing caused lines and marks to damage the pages. I get a Nat Geo calendar every year, but this one will be my last, sadly. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2022 )
